Hey folks, happy May! Check out all the stuff that's happened in the past month:
Lead Times
We're looking for more assembly techs to join the team! If you're in the Pittsburgh area and interested, please don't hesitate to apply!
As always, the official lead time on each product's product page is the most accurate metric for when you'll see your hardware ship. There's a good chance we ship early, internally it's about a 3 week lead time, but we keep it where it is to ensure we're able to stick to our estimate.
Wide Feeders
We're well into our PVT build for 16mm and 24mm feeders! All of our PVT parts have arrived, and we're doing test builds right now to catch production issues and find the most optimal way to put them together.
So far, we're finding that they're pretty easy to assemble. We were a bit worried about the pick window torsion spring being tricky to get into place, but it's actually quite easy to do. No tools are required either, so they're very easy for customers to remove for repair or maintenance.
With production quantities on their way, we are quickly approaching a debut...
Reel Holder
We currently have PVT/production inventory for the Reel Holder in the mail! Aside from waiting for that to arrive, we've been working on a jig to easily assemble the plates, and to insert the spring without too much trouble.
We've also received packaging samples for this, and we're now waiting on production boxes and inserts to arrive.
Feeder Loading Station
We're waiting on just one part before we can begin our PVT build of the Feeder Loading Station! We've built a few DVT units for around the office, and they've been really handy to have around.
When the last parts arrive, we'll begin our proper PVT build and start getting some inventory built up!
