Our robust feeder ecosystem adheres to the ubiquitous ANSI EIA-481-F taping standard, with feeders for 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, and even 24mm tape.
Feeders allow your machine to run without spool swaps for thousands of placements. And with 50 slots, the LumenPnP can tackle your most ambitious project.
Rapid Iteration
If your prototype batch is 5 or 500, the LumenPnP will quickly assemble your boards, helping you quickly validate and test PCBs before your next spin, or full production.
Sight & Sound uses the LumenPnP to rapidly iterate on PCBs in-house, and even quickly test different value components and LED colors within minutes.
End-Use Boards
The LumenPnP is capable of full production of end-use PCBs. Build for reliability and uptime, some individual customers even produce tens of thousands of units a year on their LumenPnP line. And if you ever need a hand, our support team is always available to make sure your line is up and running.
Boards in the LumenPnP are actually assembled using the LumenPnP in our production facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We use the machine to build its own boards, and every machine we've ever shipped was assembled by a LumenPnP.
Adaptable to any task
Fully open souce, the LumenPnP is easily modified to perform automation tasks. Using our custom Python library, Leash, you can easily connect to the machine from your own software and use it for your unique application, anywhere from categorizing insects to testing silicon components.
William Santoso from Phlux Technology modified the LumenPnP to automatically place their custom silicon components into a test jig, and bin them based on test results. This process saves the team at Phlux hours of error-prone manual testing.
Train the next generation
For hundreds of universities, the LumenPnP has allowed them to train their students on pick and place operation simultaneously with multiple machines, instead of just having one costly SMT line that only a handful of students can be trained on at a time.
LCCC has a full LumenPnP line deployed in their training program, giving their students hands-on experience that they wouldn't have been able to do otherwise.
