Film Extensions

Our SMT Film Extensions helps prevent component waste when loading SMT carrier tape into a pick-and-place feeder. It is used to extend the cover tape, allowing seamless use of both full reels and shorter tape sections with no loss.

Features:

• Adds 396mm (15") of starter cover film to component reels for smooth loading
• Durable adhesive ensures a secure connection between the extension and the original film
  
• Available in three width variants:
  • 8mm/12mm (Universal) - Compatible with both 8mm and 12mm carrier tape sizes
